Who we are

Blindspot is made by Blindspot Desk, a small independent research desk. It is an independent project, not a registered company. You can reach us at hello@blindspotdesk.com.

What Blindspot is

Blindspot is a research and education tool. It grades the completeness of the reasoning behind a trade idea: what it assumes, where it contradicts itself, and which known drivers it leaves out. It never grades the trade. It gives no signals, no price targets and no conviction ratings, and no score or finding should be read as a reason to buy or sell anything.

Plans and payment

• At launch you can buy one plan: Desk, paid yearly, at €1,990 a year. Pro and monthly billing are launching soon. Firm is sold by writing to us.
• You pay on our website through Stripe Checkout. Then you download the Mac app and sign in. You need a plan to use the app.
• Prices include VAT where it applies. You see the total before you pay.
• Your plan renews each year until you cancel. For the founding 100, the first year starts on launch day (see below). We charge the same card, through Stripe. If a payment fails, your plan may stop.
• If we change a price, it applies from your next renewal, and we tell you before it does.

Cancelling and refunds

• Cancel any time from your account using Manage billing. Cancellation stops future renewals. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
• Payments are non-refundable, except where required by law. We do not offer a money-back guarantee or refunds for unused time or unused tests.

This policy does not limit your statutory rights, including any applicable withdrawal rights or remedies for a service that is not supplied or does not conform to the contract. Contact us to exercise those rights.

Any applicable withdrawal period is governed by law. Starting access immediately does not by itself remove those rights. Write to hello@blindspotdesk.com with the email used for payment and the charge you want us to review.

Résiliation et remboursements

• Résiliez à tout moment depuis votre compte, dans Gérer la facturation. La résiliation arrête les prochains renouvellements. Votre abonnement reste actif jusqu’à la fin de la période payée.
• Les paiements ne sont pas remboursables, sauf obligation légale. Nous ne proposons ni garantie satisfait ou remboursé, ni remboursement du temps ou des tests non utilisés.

Cette politique ne limite pas vos droits légaux, notamment un éventuel droit de rétractation ou les recours pour un service non fourni ou non conforme au contrat. Contactez-nous pour exercer ces droits.

Un éventuel délai de rétractation est fixé par la loi. L’accès immédiat ne supprime pas à lui seul ces droits. Écrivez à hello@blindspotdesk.com avec l’adresse e-mail du paiement et le débit à examiner.

Founding 100

The first 100 buyers of Desk, paid yearly, are the founding 100. They get:

• A number, #1 to #100, for life, shown next to their nickname in the app. It is never given to anyone else.
• A direct line, “the Desk”, inside the app: a private chat with the team. You can send text and images up to 5 MB. Replies are signed “The desk”. We answer as soon as we can, and we promise no reply time. It is not investment advice. We may mute a chat that breaks these terms.
• Early access to new versions, checks and screens before others.

Until the public launch, the founding build of the app has the reading as you type, the direct line and a few worked examples each week, but no Stress Test. The Stress Test opens for founders on launch day. Your paid year starts on launch day, not on the day you pay. Until then, Stripe shows a renewal date one year after your payment. On launch day we move it to one year after launch, at no extra cost.

There is no discount and no price lock: you pay the same price as everyone. When your paid period ends after cancellation, you keep your number, but the direct line becomes read-only: you can read your past chat but not write. If a payment is refunded, your number is hidden and the direct line is read-only until you pay again. When you pay again, the same number comes back.

What you need

The Mac app needs macOS 14 or later on a Mac with Apple Silicon. Voice dictation needs macOS 26 or later. The app downloads its on-device model the first time you open it, and tests need an internet connection.

Blindspot is new. It is provided as is: features can change, break or stop, and results can be incomplete or wrong.

Your part

• You decide what you trade. Check anything that matters against your own sources.
• Don't enter material non-public information, anything you are not allowed to share, or other people's personal data.
• Don't use Blindspot to break the law, to mislead others, or to disrupt, overload, copy or reverse-engineer the service.
• Keep your account to yourself. A plan is for one person.

Your ideas stay yours

What you write is yours. We don't claim it and we don't publish it. The website, the app, the method and the brand are ours; don't copy them. If you send us feedback, we may use it to improve Blindspot without owing you anything for it.

Other services

Blindspot relies on services we don't control, including payment, sign-in, an AI service, web search results and public economic calendars. Their data can be late, incomplete or wrong, and their own terms apply.

No guarantees

To the extent the law allows, Blindspot comes with no warranties of any kind, and Blindspot Desk is not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or any indirect loss arising from your use of the website or the app. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law that can't be waived, including your rights as a consumer.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top. A change to price or refunds never applies to a period you already paid for. If you keep using Blindspot after a change, the new terms apply. Questions go to hello@blindspotdesk.com.
